Can I use this broadcaster database in my Real World mod?
This broadcaster database is free for Real World mod-makers to use in their mods. However, I do ask that you credit me if anything I've done in this mod is being used as I spent a lot of time creating this database including the nGo compatible pictures.
Can I use your pictures in my mod?
Yes if you credit me and as long as it's not another broadcaster database mod.
How do the broadcaster database work?
The mod includes a lot of broadcaster changes from the 70s, 80s, 90s until the current era. TV networks that expands and/or changes logos and names. TV networks, PPV providers and Closed-circuit providers that go out of business.
How do I use this broadcaster database in my mod?
Remove all "broadcasters", "broadcaster changes" and "media groups" from your mod. Import "media groups" from Asaemon's broadcaster database; then import the "broadcasters" from Asaemon's broadcasters database; and finally import the "broadcaster changes" from Asaemon's broadcaster database. Depending on the starting year of your mod, you manually have to edit the broadcasters with any broadcaster changes that will not happen due to expired trigger dates. WWE Network, New Japan World and AJPW TV needs to manually have the "company" set as owner.
You also need to add "broadcasting deals".
Can this broadcaster database be used in my fantasy mod or other project?

Can I use Asaemon's broadcaster database in another broadcaster database mod?
No!
Can i use another broadcaster database as a base and import from Asaemon's Broadcaster Database?
That could cause duplicates and prevent broadcaster changes from happening, so I would not recommend it.
Do the broadcasters have correct month/year in the "begins with" and "closes" fields?
Yes, except in a few cases when I couldn't find information about the opening/closing months.
Is all broadcaster real and not stopgaps imported from the default database?
Yes all broadcasters are real! So no C-Verse stopgap broadcasters.
Why did you set the product preferences like that?
Due to the game mechanics and aiming to keep it realistic! How many lucha libre or puroresu promotions have you seen on major mainstream TV networks outside Japan or Mexico?
Why did you set the broadcaster coverage like that?
Due to the game mechanics and aiming to keep it realistic! TEW can't simulate TV networks with coverage in the same region. In Europe several TV networks aired WWF and WCW which can't be simulated in TEW if the TV networks have coverage all over Europe.
Why did you set the media groups like that?
Due to the game mechanics! TEW can't change media groups with broadcaster changes or narratives.
Why are promotion owned broadcasters missing their owners?
There are no promotions included in the broadcaster database, so after importing you manually have to set WWF, NJPW and AJPW as owners.
